PRESS RELEASE 2012/2013 MONASH BUSINESS AWARDS FIRST NOMINEE IS ANNOUNCED

Unique Micro Design Pty Ltd is the first nominee for the 2012/13 Monash Business Awards. The announcement was made at a Lunch held at the Mulgrave Country Club on Wednesday 12 September. Approximately 130 business people were in attendance.
The guest speaker at the Lunch, Selma Medmedovic, Research Consultant with the Australian Centre for Retail Studies, which operates out of Monash University, delivered an interesting and engaging presentation in which she discussed how retailers can harness emerging channels to meet their customers’ needs.
Unique Micro Design is an engineering ICT solutions company that provides solutions for data capture and interface devices using fixed and mobile terminals. Located in Clayton, they began as a start-up business in 1983 by 3 Monash University graduates. Accepting the nomination was Unique Micro Design’s Managing Director Mr Geoffrey Ramadan.
The next Monash Business Awards event is a Business Lunch to be held on Wednesday 14 November 2012 at the Mulgrave Country Club, where former AFL footballer Heath Black will be the guest speaker.
