Rinoldi Pasta and Nachos Mexican Cantina are the next two nominees for the 2012/13 Monash Business Awards. The announcement was made at a luncheon held at the Mulgrave Country Club on Wednesday 14 November. Approximately 120 business people were in attendance.
The guest speaker at the Lunch, Heath Black, is a retired footballer who struggled with mental illness throughout his 12-year professional career. Heath has spent the last 18 months getting his life back on track, but rather than sit back he has decided to use his profile and experience to try and help other men who may suffer from Bipolar, ADHD or other related mental conditions such as depression, anxiety, isolation and alcoholism.
Rinoldi Pasta was first established in 1878 and is Australia’s oldest surviving pasta manufacturer. Located in Mulgrave Rinoldi Pasta is owned and operated by the second generation of the Quayle family. Accepting the nomination was Bill Quayle, Director and Business Development Manager.
Nachos Mexican Cantina is a family run business that currently operates two fully licensed restaurants in Mount Waverley and Aspendale that provide both Dine-In and Take Away service.
