METRICON WINS BUSINESS OF THE YEAR

Metricon was named the Monash Business Awards Business of the Year at the 2009-2010 Gala Dinner & Presentation Evening held on Friday 23 July 2010 at the Wheelers Hill International.

More than 150 business and Monash Council representatives attended the event with special guests Cr Tom Morrissey & Cr Greg Male – City of Monash.

Metricon was founded by George Kline & Mario Biasin in 1976 as a boutique builder of homes with a focus on land development, construction of commercial buildings and house & land packages in Victoria. A passion for design and construction, and the desire to become the market leader, drove them to evolve with market trends and identify new opportunities for growth.

George & Mario remain Metricon’s joint Chief Executive Officers and now employ a team of 1000 across Australia. Metricon continues to contribute positively to the growth and development of Australia’s residential landscape and attribute their success to continually delivering innovative living solutions.

The Monash Business Awards were established in 1994 by 10 local business leaders to honour local business achievements.
