FURTHER NOMINEES FOR THE MONASH BUSINESS AWARDS ANNOUNCED

Griffiths Coffee and Web24 Pty Ltd are the newest nominees for the 2007/08 Monash Business Awards.
They accepted the nominations at the Monash Business Awards Breakfast function held at the Mulgrave Country Club in November.
Peter Patiseas, the General Manager for Griffiths Coffee, was pleased to be one of the two companies nominated for the awards. Two brothers, with a passion for coffee conceived Oasis Coffee in the early 70’s. As demand grew the brothers were able to acquire Griffiths Coffee, an established coffee and tea supplier. The successful amalgamation of both businesses has allowed Griffiths Coffee to achieve great rewards. The company now is still a privately owned family business.
Web24’s Director, Aaron Sinclair, was present at the breakfast to accept the nomination. Web24 commenced operations in Australia in February this year after the sale of a very successful business in New Zealand. Providing enterprise hosting, messaging and server virtualisation services to Australian based individuals, clubs, organizations and businesses; they already have received a number of industry accolades.
John Gardiner, Managing Director of ConnectEast also made a presentation to the audience of approximately 180 business people. He provided an overview of the Eastlink Project; it’s completion date and its benefits on business.
The next event is the MBA Breakfast to be held on Wednesday 20th February 2008 at the Mulgrave Country Club.
